"Teaser Trailer" Readings: The American Fiction Collection

Tuesday, March 21, 2017 -
12:15pm to 12:45pm
Special Collections and University Archives, 3rd floor
Rod Library, West 27th Street,Cedar Falls, IA, United States

No time for pleasure-reading? Sample a new favorite book before you commit to the whole thing! Join us in Rod Library every other Tuesday beginning Jan 10 @ 12:15 - 12:45 p.m. in Special Collections and University Archives to hear librarians, professors, fellow students, and occasional authors read aloud from a different book each session. Together, we’ll discover short stories, poems, and novels, both famous and little-known, from UNI’s post-1960s American Fiction Collection -- but ONLY as much as our bite-sized time slot allows for. You’ll also have the opportunity to examine each book (all first editions, and many signed by the author) following the reading. Doors will remain open for guests to come and go, but please remember that no food or drinks are permitted in Special Collections. Don’t miss out!

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all UNI-sponsored events.  If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact Susan Basye, Rod Library, at 319/273-2737 or susan.basye@uni.edu at least one week prior to the event.
