Historical Note

Professor Kenneth Gardner Butzier directed drama performances, variety shows, and madrigal dinners at the Malcolm Price Laboratory School from 1960 through 1985.  Professor Leslie Hale collaborated on the music for some of those productions.

Scope and Content

Most of this collection consists of programs, publicity, previews, reviews, production photos, and congratulatory notes relating to the productions. The material in Boxes 1-12 is arranged chronologically by the date of the production. Marked director's copies of some of Professor Butzier's productions are in Box 13.

This collection should be used in conjunction with the Laboratory School Drama, Musical, and Variety Show Collection
