Scope and Content

These files document exhibits mounted or maintained by the University of Northern Iowa Museums and Collections.  The files include exhibit guides, photographs, labels, correspondence, and research relating to short term and long term exhibits.  The amount of documentation varies considerably from exhibit to exhibit.

The University of Northern Iowa Museums and Collections sent the material in Boxes 1 and 2 to the University Archives in February 2010.  This material was arranged in rough chronological order when it arrived in the University Archives.  Subsequently, University of Wisconsin--Milwaukee graduate student intern Dana Wallace maintained that order, with appropriate improvements, during processing.

The material in Box 3 arrived in the University Archives in February 2015, and Boxes 4-6 several months later.  Again, this material was arranged in chronological order.
