Scope and content: This collection of material, accumulated by Hazel B. Strayer, was given to the University Archives by the Theatre UNI staff in 1985. It consists primarily of assignments prepared by students in Miss Strayer’s classes; lecture and demonstration material; and typed copies of poetry and dramatic selections probably used as recitations in those classes. The collection also includes newspaper clippings, two promptbooks, and a small amount of personal correspondence. Some material apparently used for classroom recitations was discarded due to its poor physical condition.
