Patricia L. Geadelmann joined the physical education faculty of the Department of Teaching at the University of Northern Iowa in 1972. In 1984 she moved to the faculty of the School of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation and was named Assistant Vice President, Academic Affairs. In 1988 she began to serve as Director, Government Relations. In 1996 she was named Executive Assistant to the President and Director of External Relations.
Scope and Content
This collection documents Professor Geadelmann's role in the university's development of its vision and marketing strategy. It contains files on federal appropriations sought by the university. Material relating to the development of the Wellness/Recreation Center project are especially strong.
