  • Events:
    • The College of Business Administration commencement was held  on Saturday, May 9 at 10:00 AM in the West Gymnasium.
    • The College of Education and the Graduate College held their commencement on Saturday, May 9 at 10:00 AM in Price Laboratory School Nielsen Fieldhouse.
    • The College of Social and Behavioral Sciences and the Division of Continuing Education and Special Programs held their commencement on Saturday, May 9 at 2:00 PM in the West Gymnasium.
    • The College of Humanities and Fine Arts, and College of Natural Sciences held their commencement in the Price Laboratory School Nielsen Fieldhouse at 3:00 PM.
    • Separate receptions were held following each commencement ceremony.
  • Highlights, Headlines, Firsts, and Honors:
    • Four separate commencement ceremonies were held due to ongoing construction work in the UNI-Dome.
    • Commencement exercises were broadcast on television.
    • About 1,200 students received degrees.

  • Events:
    • The College of Education and the Division of Continuing Education commencement was held at 10:00 AM.
    • The College of Humanities and Fine Arts and the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences commencement was held at 1:00 PM.
    • The College of Business Administration, the College of Natural Sciences, and the Graduate College commencement was held at 4:00 PM.
  • Highlights, Headlines, Firsts, and Honors:
    • Three separate commencement ceremonies were held due to construction on the UNI-Dome.
    • Commencement was broadcast on television.
    • Approximately 650 students received degrees.

  • Speaker and Speech Title:  Daniel L. Wilcox, Candidate in Management (Student Address)
  • Events:
    •  Commencement was held on Saturday, December 22 at 11:00 AM.
  • Highlights, Headlines, Firsts, and Honors:
    • There was a possibility of canceling commencement due to budget cuts.
    • NISG voted to give $13,000 to help with the costs of commencement.
    • NISG shared the expense of winter commencement with the Educational Student Services Division and the Office of the Registrar.
    • About 800 students received degrees.

    • Graduates had the choice of having commencement in either March or May, due to UNI-Dome construction work. May was selected.
