Center for Excellence in Teaching & Learning Event

Facilitator: Susan Hill, CETL

If you love to grade, this session isn't for you.  If you'd rather clean out your closets or do anything else to avoid grading, then you'll want to join us.  We'll begin by thinking about what, exactly, we want to accomplish when we grade.  Then, we'll look at what the research says about what kind of feedback is most helpful for learning.  Finally, we'll explore strategies for giving food feedback to students quickly and more effectively.  If you need to leave by 1:00 p.m. no problem! Please come anyway!

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all UNI-sponsored events.  If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact Susan Basye, Rod Library, at 319/273-2737 or susan.basye@uni.edu at least one week prior to the event.
