The Friends of the University of Northern Iowa Museum will present the final presentation of The World Comes to the Cedar Valley, Iowa Embraces Diversity, the 2018-19 Speaker Series. The Friends of UNI Museum Speakers Series asks “How do we prepare for the USA Citizenship test?” We will explore what classes are offered locally, what sort of information a candidate for citizenship will encounter, how the test is administered, how long does someone need to study and learn before they are ready, who can help a person new to the area find out what it takes to pass this test and become an American? We are pleased to feature people of our communities, telling about their experiences. This year-long program is the second offering from Friends of the UNI Museum.
This lovely historic schoolhouse is on UNI campus across from the UNI Dome. Latham parking lot is close to Marshall Center School and has ample parking that is also free parking and handicapped accessible. The series is free and open the public. Please join us on Saturday, April 20, at 2 p.m.
