Let’s take a look at this 2017 book that examines what research tells us about the contributions to learning that can flow from effective lecturing. The authors are frequent key- note speakers on topics related to teaching and learning. Christine Harrington is executive director of the New Jersey Center for Student Success at the New Jersey Council of County Colleges, and author of Student Success in College: Doing What Works! Todd Zakrajsek (UNC Chapel Hill) is co-author with Terry Doyle of The New Science of Learning: How to Learn in Harmony with Your Brain.
