EVERYDAY STEPS TO A MORE INCLUSIVE CLASSROOM

Tuesday, October 15, 2019 - 12:00pm
LIB 378
Rod Library, 1227 W 27th St, Cedar Falls, IA 50614, USA

In this event hosted by the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, Dr. Froyum will examine concrete ways through which we communicate inclusivity -- or exclusivity -- in our classrooms. She will ask us to consider the implications of practices we may take for granted, including syllabus construction, assignment transparency, attendance and technology policies. How can we identify appropriate challenges for all students, and communicate that our courses are structured in ways that are accessible to everyone?
