TEACHING WITH OPEN ACCESS RESOURCES

Wednesday, October 23, 2019 - 12:00pm
ScholarSpace LIB 301
Rod Library, 1227 W 27th St, Cedar Falls, IA 50614, USA

Celebrate Open Access Week with the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning by joining faculty from a variety of departments to hear strategies they have used to implement Open Educational Resources (OERs) in their classrooms to save students money on course materials. They will share their motivations for adopting OERs as well as the advantages, benefits, and challenges they encountered along the way. The session will also address the theme for Open Access Week 2019: “Open for Whom? Equity in Open Knowledge.” Co-sponsored by CETL and the Library Scholarly Communication Committee
