World War I : Lessons and LegaciesRod Library invites you to a special exhibition exploring how the lessons and legacies of World War I continue to affect the United States today. World War I: Lessons and Legacies is on view January 6 - February 15 inside Rod Library. The poster exhibition is brought to you courtesy of the Smithsonian and The United States World War I Centennial Commission. UNI Museum and Special Collections & University Archives will display artifacts supporting the exhibit. .  
 
On January 22, 12 p.m., Dr. Emily Machen, Associate Professor of History, will present Warriors, Caregivers, and Patriots: Women's Experiences in the First World War. Immediately followed by a Special Collections & University Archives Open House, 1-3 p.m. On January 29, 12 p.m., Dr. Thomas Connors, Associate Professor of History, will present "For the Fallen": Military Cemeteries of the Western Front. Both presentations will take place in the ScholarSpace LIB 301. The exhibition is on the main floor of Rod Library.
