Banned Books Week at Rod Library

Monday, September 28, 2009 - 11:45am - Banned Books Week “celebrates the freedom to choose or the freedom to express one’s opinion even if that opinion might be considered unorthodox or unpopular.” It emphasizes the “importance of ensuring the availability of those unorthodox or unpopular viewpoints to all who wish to read them.” Banned Books Week is an annual event sponsored by the American Booksellers Association; American Booksellers Foundation for Free Expression; the American Library Association; American Society of Journalists and Authors; Association of American Publishers; and the National Association of College Stores. Charge to U-bill for Photocopies Now Available

Wednesday, September 9, 2009 - 3:47pm - The long awaited charge to u-bill for photocopies is now available on all self-service photocopies in the Rod Library.  Prices are $.10 per page for black/white copies and $.50 for color copies.  Patron can still make copies with cash on the copiers on 1st and 2nd floor of the Library.
