Copyright and Faculty Rights

Tuesday, November 12, 2013 - 5:00am - The Rod Library has purchased webcast materials from Academic Impressions about Copyright and Faculty Rights. The programs feature Kevin Smith and Steven McDonald and are designed to teach faculty and staff how to apply copyright laws appropriately in the classroom, research, and scholarship.  The two CD sets cover Session 1: Faculty use of Copyright and Session 2:  Faculty Ownership of Copyright.  They are located in the stacks at KF 2995 S55 2012 v.1 &  v.2.  

Treasures: A Sampling of the UNI Museums Collection – A New Exhibit

Thursday, November 7, 2013 - 7:55am - The UNI Museums has mounted an exhibit highlighting the diverse resources in its collections on the first floor of Rod Library. Entitled “Treasures: A Sampling of the UNI Museums Collection,” it provides an introduction to the collections in the areas of Anthropology/World Cultures, Biology, Geology, and History. The exhibit will be open through February 28, 2014. Be sure to plan to visit during regular Library hours. Remember that the Museums collections are accessible to University faculty, staff, and students by appointment. Consider their use in your instruction and coursework.
