North American Review
In celebration of the bicentennial event, Rod Library Special Collections and University Archives has created an exhibit showcasing the "Northern American Review at Northern Iowa" and local poet James Hearst, long term friend and fan of the magazine.
The North American Review is the longest-lived literary magazine in the United States, and it's published right here at UNI! The North American Review was founded in 1815 and has been housed at the University of Northern Iowa since 1968. To celebrate the bicentennial, the NAR is hosting a creative writing and literature conference on campus June 11-13. For more information check out their website here.
