UNI ScholarWorks is our institutional repository that provides preservation and global access to UNI faculty, staff and student scholarly and creative output. Our Actions, Our Earth

Tuesday, April 19, 2016 - 10:28am - Celebrate Earth Month with recycled art!   Green Project UNI works to involve students, staff, and faculty in promoting green thinking and in making the university a leader in campus sustainability. The club searches for engaging ways to communicate environmentally friendly messages to the student body. Members of Green Project UNI collaborated to create art pieces that represent facets of the natural world that are negatively affected by human actions. Please take time to view the exhibit inside Rod Library on the main floor Learning Commons Exhibition Wall. This exhibit is currently on display and available through May 5.

After trying his best to get anyone to play fetch, this pup begins a relentless one-sided game. Videatives Streaming Service

Thursday, April 14, 2016 - 10:31am - Videatives Streaming Service offers easy access to more than 300 video clips streamed and accessible through Rod Library’s online catalog at https://streaming.videatives.com/. Each clip comes with text-based introductions on the significance of the episode for early education and child development. Practice clips are included to enhance instruction. Search this resource using keywords matching your topic of interest and create playlist links to send to students and colleagues. . Try out this new online resource and let the Library know what you think. Funded by UNI’s Department of Educational Psychology & Foundations in the College of Education.

Thank you for all you do!    Myle Duong was one of the top 5 finalists for Student Employee of the year.  Myle is an incredible building monitor.  She always comes to work motivated and is always happy to take on new projects.  She's a wonderful role model and is always eager to help new students succeed.                Diksha Ohja is the 2016 recipient of the Servant Leader award.  Diksha is a wonderful student employee (she practically lives in the library!) and involved in many campus organizations.  She dedicates a lot of her time to making other...
