You already know you’ll be spending time in Rod Library working on your final projects, writing papers, and studying for tests. Fortunately for you, when it’s time for a study break, you won’t even have to leave the library! Rod Library is again hosting de-stress events this year to help you relax and unwind during the last few weeks of the semester. Rod Library knows it is essential to support students' academic success. However, Rod Library also recognizes that it is equally as important to support students' emotional well-being, especially with finals approaching. Take a break with Rod Library at our FREE de-stress events.
On December 7 and 8 from 1:00-3:00 p.m., La’ James International College will be at Rod Library hosting reflexology massages. Come by Rod Library for a relaxing hand massage during your busy day.
If you’re more of an animal lover, P.E.T. P.A.L.S. will again be visiting Rod Library from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. December 6-8 and December 11-13. These therapy dogs and cats will bring you a much-needed distraction from the stress of finals. Make sure you check the schedule to see when your favorite pet comes to visit!
For those who enjoy art and doodling, Rod Library will also have the Graffiti Wall once again where you can draw, doodle, and write encouraging messages. This wall will be up from December 4-14. Additionally, the Makerspace has Legos, coloring books, Play-Doh, Spirographs, and more art supplies stocked for your enjoyment.
Rod Library wishes you all the best on your finals, and don’t forget to stop in to de-stress with us!
