Compact Shelving Update

Monday, January 14, 2019 - 9:00am - As you may be aware, the compact shelving on the library’s first floor has been inoperable for almost two and a half years. We have been seeking to replace or repair the shelving, but the cost is prohibitive. We recognize that the print journals housed within the compact shelving are still of interest to library patrons, but unfortunately, we can only allow staff to retrieve these items. As a result, we have decided to remove seating and construct open shelving to make these journals more accessible.
