It is the desire of the Student Employment Advisory Committee to recognize and reward outstanding student employees through the Student of the Month award program. The award is intended to recognize a student employee who displays exemplary performance in areas of his/her employment: attitude, judgment in a particular situation, high level of service to patrons, etc. Staff, student assistants, and faculty as well as members of the public may make nominations for this recognition. Recipients are chosen by the Student Employment Advisory Committee from the nominations submitted.
The Student Employee of the Month will be recognized by a Certificate of Award, a congratulatory letter with a copy of the letter to be retained in the student's permanent file in the Student Employment Coordinator's office, and a gift. In addition to appearing on the Student Employment web page, a picture of the student assistant will be displayed on the electronic display in the main lobby.
