Computer accessories (headsets, chargers, adapters, etc.) and electronics are available for your convenience.

Public Computers in the Building

Rod Library offers a large number of computers for public use on all four floors of our building. The use of library-owned computers is governed by the Acceptable Use-Library Learning Space Computers policy. Our Computer Availability Map, which may be accessed only while connected to the UNI network, shows the location of all public computers. Those shown on the map with a red dot are the computers currently in use or being worked on by our Tech Staff. Those shown with a green dot are the computers available and open for use. The map also shows the locations of all print release stations in the Library.

Visitor Kiosks

The Library's four visitor kiosks offer limited functionality, as they are intended to provide quick access to the Library's catalog and provide a means for users to perform a self-service password reset. These are located near the main stairs on the first, third and fourth floors, and near the Library Services desk on the second floor.

Mac and Surface Studio Rooms

Several reservable rooms on the third floor have been equipped with Mac computers and Surface Studio touch computers, which are ideal for those needing to work on design projects. You'll find these spaces near the Youth Collection in rooms 362, 363, 364 and 365.
