Here are some other options for spaces on campus.

  • Maucker Union has meeting rooms and larger spaces available for reservations.
  • Information Technology manages a computer lab that may be reserved.

  • Inquiries about using library spaces for events may be directed to the Library Public Relations Office (lib-prc@uni.edu).

Special Study Spaces

Study Rooms for Faculty and Graduate Students

Faculty Study Rooms
Faculty studies are for faculty and staff who have been granted emeritus status, and current tenured or tenure-track faculty. Priority is given to full-time faculty members.

Graduate Student Study Rooms
Graduate students may apply for and be assigned one of 10 individual study rooms for their individual study and research.  Fill out an online application to apply for a Graduate Student Study Room.

Tech Enhanced Study Spaces

Listening and Viewing Room 310
This room, which accommodates up to 2 people, may be used on a first come first served basis to listen to CDs, cassettes, or LPs or view DVDs, Blu Rays, or VHS tapes. Headphones are provided for listening to the equipment.

Assistive Technology Study Room 315
This room contains assistive technology equipment available to anyone. The room is available for walk-in use; users with a reservation have priority. Individuals with disabilities may inquire at the Library Services Desk about assistance.

Student Support Spaces

The Learning Center

Located on the main floor of the Library, The Learning Center provides academic tutoring free to students.  

Office of Academic Advising

The Office of Academic Advising promotes student engagement, purpose and persistence through academic advising by guiding them through transitions, connections and resources.
